Community planning forms part of our broader objective to achieve Sustainable Communities. This links together customer views, customer profiles, internal and external policies and Allocation and lettings profiles.
To find out your views about the Communities in which you live we sent out the FACE 4 Change survey asking all tenants for their views on the following:
- Facilities in your community
- Anti social behaviour and crime related problems in your area
- Condition of your home
- Environmental Issues in your area

You also told us about things that are a cause for concern for you, such as:
- Poor bus services
- Lack of local shops
- No play areas for children
- Litter and noise nuisance in some areas
- You would like to see more police patrolling the area
Your comments have helped us to develop Community Action plans to address the issues that are important to you.
What next:
- The results of the survey and your comments have been included in community newsletters these will be displayed here on the website.
- We will work with other agencies such as Rossendale BC and the Police to address the issues that you have raised.
- Community Action plans will be developed to ensure that they remain up to date with the issues in your community.
- We will provide regular newsletters to let you know what we have done to improve things in your community.
- We will survey you again later this year to check if the actions we have taken have made a difference.
