Being a Tenant Board member brings rewards and responsibility.
If you fancy becomming a Tenant Board member, we will be holding elections in Summer 2013 - so why not put your name forward.
If you are successful in the elections, you will be able to take part in and make decisions that affect how Pennine Housing works and make decisions on improvements for your estates and communities.
Tenant Members serve for three years on the Board, after which time they are eligible for re-election. In June 2013, we are holding elections for one tenant board member who will be representing the Upper Valley area and therefore should live in that area.
How do I stand for election ?
If you would like to become a Tenant Board member and want to find out more about what is involved, we are holding some 'awareness sessions' in Spring 2013. These will be informal, friendly gatherings where you can chat to staff and current board members and ask any questions you have.
You will also get the change to attend a board meeting (we will pay any travel expenses). If you are interested in attending an 'awareness session' or want to find out more about becoming a board member, contact Margaret Holt on 01484 824327 or e.mail margaret.holt@togetherhousing.co.uk
Please contact Margaret by the end of February 2013 to register your interest.
Board Minutes can also be found in this section for you to catch up on what has been happening.
Thank you.
